Kenyan Shilling Loses Against The Dollar, Euro And Pound

Total equity turnover dropped by 76.49 percent to close at USD 0.81 million (108.48 million shillings) compared to yesterday's turnover of USD 3.43 million (461.38 million shillings).

The Kenyan shilling lost against the three major giants of the world; US Dollar, British Pound, and the Euro. Against the US Dollar, the local currency weakened by 0.30 percent to close at 134.35 (-8.90 percent year-to-date).

Against the British Pound, the shilling weakened by 0.78 percent to close at 168.23 (-13.31 percent year-to-date) while against the Euro, the local currency weakened by 1.04 percent to close at 148.52 (-13.14 percent year-to-date).
