TSC Is Hiring School Administrators: Here Is A List Of Requirements

According to Teacher Service Commission, TSC, the school administrators include senior masters, deputy headteachers, deputy principals, headteachers, and principals. School Administrators are found in primary and secondary schools and teachers training colleges, both regular and special schools.

After applying for TSC advertised vacancy the next step is to attend the interviews as scheduled. Before attending the interview session, it is good to prepare adequately.

Having a solid grasp of the material you’re trying to impart is essential. In addition, you’ll have an advantage over the competition if you’re well-versed in extracurricular activities.

According to Section 23(1) of the Teachers Service Commission Act, 2012, all applicants must be certified teachers. A candidate who has not completed the registration process will not be considered.

To prevent the hiring of unregistered or deregistered individuals, TSC County Directors are obligated to have institution heads verify the online registration status of applicants throughout the shortlisting process.

If a candidate’s name is misspelled on any of their official documents (such as transcripts, licenses, or identification cards), they must submit an Affidavit, sworn under the Oaths and Statutory Declarations Act, Cap 15 of the Laws of Kenya, to explain the discrepancy.

The County Selection Panel will use each applicant list to narrow the field down to five (5) potential candidates for each position. The Teachers Service Commission’s website will provide information about those who were selected for interviews, as well as the dates and locations at which they will take place.

There are seven documents that TSC asks for during school administrator interviews

1. Your National Identity card, ID; both Original and copy
2. Original academic and professional certificates
3. Letter of appointment the current Grade
4. Letter of appointment to the current post, where applicable
5. Analyzed individual subjects’ results in KCSE and KCPE examinations for the past three years certified by TSC county or sub-county directors
6. Performance appraisal (TPAD) reports for the last three years
7. Any other testimonials supporting your performance
