Total equity turnover rose by 3.41 percent to close at USD 1.04 MN (KES 151.60 MN) compared to yesterday's turnover of USD 1.01 MN (KES 146.61 MN).

  • USD|KES: KES weakened by 0.10% to close at 145.41 (-17.86% year-to-date).
  • GBP|KES: KES weakened by 1.05% to close at 184.64 (-24.36% year-to-date).
  • EUR|KES: KES weakened by 1.18% to close at 158.69 (-20.89% year-to-date).

Kenyan Stock Market

Total equity turnover rose by 3.41 percent to close at USD 1.04 MN (KES 151.60 MN) compared to yesterday’s turnover of USD 1.01 MN (KES 146.61 MN).

NSE 20 rose by 0.51% to close at 1,540.16 and NASI eased by 0.27%  to close at 99.23.

Foreign investors assumed a net selling position by accounting for 42.94% of total market purchases and 97.62% of total market sales.
