We waste so much time worrying about our current situations that we fail to notice the open doors of opportunities right under our noses. Worrying has never helped anyone. All it does is steal your joy and keep you busy doing nothing.

Sometimes we tend to ignore the red flags in people. We keep on saying that they will change. We shut off the many red flags hoping that something good would come at the end of the tunnel. Evil people never change. They only wear masks to conceal themselves.

As you grow older, you realize that not everything about you and your plans needs to be in the open. Not even your closest friends should know your next move. As human beings, nobody wants you to be more successful than them. Nobody. They will be lying to you if they say so.

When faced with a difficult situation, think outside the rules you are accustomed to. Sometimes, the only way to save yourself is to break the rules that you have known all your life. Do not be rigid. Be flexible. Be teachable. Listen more than you talk.

Avoid the company of those who fear change. Avoid the miserable and the unluck. Misery and bad luck are infectious and before you know it, you will be chronically ill.
