Epson Taps On Women for Regional Growth

Epson Middle East FZCO [EME] has announced the promotion of four female leaders to senior management roles within its META-CW Asia operating region. Covering key markets across the Middle East, Turkey, Africa, and Central & West Asia, this leadership enhancement marks a strategic move by Epson to strengthen its position and expand its presence in these dynamic regions, with operations centrally managed from the regional office in Dubai, UAE.
This move reflects Epson’s ongoing commitment to fostering diversity, inclusion, and operational excellence. The promotions will support the company’s vision of accelerating growth across the region over the next five years while optimizing operations in key functional areas.
The new appointments are:
- Christine Chua, Director Strategic Planning
- Natalie Harrison, Director Marketing
- Razia Mahomed, Director Services & Support
- Charley Stevens, Director Human Resources
Speaking while making the announcement Epson President of META-CW Asia Neil Colquhoun noted that this milestone was a significant step towards enhancing diversity and inclusivity within Epson leadership ranks.
“By elevating these exceptionally talented female leaders to key positions, we are not only recognizing their exemplary contributions but creating role models for women within our company and beyond,” said Mr. Colquhoun.

Epson Regional Head for East and West Africa Mukesh Bector, lauded the move while noting that Epson was dedicated to not only achieving operational excellence but also building an inclusive culture that nurtures talent at all levels.

As part of its commitment to diversity, Epson META-CW Asia has reached a significant milestone, with 47% of its management positions now held by women. This progress is supported by initiatives such as internship programmes, leadership training, and structured career development pathways aimed at fostering talent and promoting equal opportunities.
Profiles of the Newly Appointed Leaders:
Christine Chua, Strategic Planning Director
Christine leads key sales analysis and planning processes, provides input into functional strategy, and drives operational rigor for the company’s senior sales leadership team. Christine joined Epson’s UK office in 2019 as the Business Planning Manager and progressed to Senior Business Manager in Dubai before her current appointment.
Natalie Harrison, Marketing Director
In her role, Natalie leads the regional marketing team, shaping and delivering strategic marketing initiatives. She joined Epson’s UK office in 2018 as Manager of Marketing Services for the UK and Ireland, bringing with her extensive experience in marketing and operational roles across various industries, including technology, gaming, and retail.
Razia Mahomed, Services & Support Director
Razia is responsible for improving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. She leads the transition from cost- to profit-generating services, maximizing opportunities to provide value-added support. Razia joined Epson’s Dubai office in 2020 as the Services & Support Manager for the MEAFIS region.
Charley Stevens, HR Director
Charley leads the company’s human resources function, focusing on creating a diverse, inclusive, and innovative environment that fosters growth for both people and the organisation. She joined Epson’s UK office in 2018 as a Senior HR Advisor, and after moving to the UAE in 2020, she was promoted to head the HR function for the META-CW region before her recent elevation to HR Director.
