Carrefour Kenya Opens Another Store, Total Hits 30

Carrefour in Kenya has marked yet another milestone in its retail journey with the opening of its 30th store at Waris Mall in Ruai. The new store, which spans 1,500 square metres, has created over 40 new job opportunities for residents, ranging from cashiers and shelf attendants to store management positions. The Ruai store is also expected to serve as an important retail hub for the wider eastern Nairobi region, an area that has witnessed rapid population growth and urban development in recent years.

With this new addition, Carrefour’s presence in Kenya now stands at 30 stores: 25 spread across Nairobi and its satellite towns, four in Mombasa, and one in Kisumu.
