How To Apply

Interested students have been directed to log into the KUCCPS Students’ Portal, where they can view detailed entry requirements for each programme before submitting their applications online.

To pursue a Certificate course, applicants must have attained at least a KCSE mean grade of C-, with specific qualifications in designated cluster subjects.

For Diploma programmes, candidates are expected to have scored a minimum grade of C in KCSE, alongside passes in required subject clusters.

Those applying for Upgrading programmes must already hold a recognized certificate in the relevant field.

Applicants seeking admission into Higher Diploma programmes are required to possess a completed Diploma qualification in the respective discipline.

KUCCPS urged applicants to carefully review the guidelines before applying to avoid disqualification and ensure that they choose courses aligned with both their academic performance and career aspirations.

Education experts and health stakeholders have welcomed the announcement, noting that the application window comes at a critical time when Kenya is working to address shortages in its healthcare system.

KMTC, which operates more than 70 campuses spread across the country, has, over the year,s built a reputation as the largest single trainer of healthcare professionals in Kenya.

Its graduates include nurses, clinical officers, laboratory technicians, pharmacists, and other medical practitioners who serve in both public and private health facilities.

The institution’s contribution has been central to the government’s ambition of achieving Universal Health Coverage (UHC), with KMTC alumni forming a significant portion of the workforce deployed in hospitals, community health units, and specialized facilities.

Speaking on the significance of the placement drive, KUCCPS emphasized that opening up more training slots at KMTC not only provides young people with career opportunities but also ensures that Kenya continues to invest in a robust pipeline of health workers capable of handling present and future health challenges.

For many students, the October intake represents a gateway to fulfilling long-held dreams of joining the medical profession. Given KMTC’s track record, the selected applicants are expected to benefit from a blend of practical training, modern facilities, and industry-relevant exposure that prepares them for immediate deployment into the workforce upon graduation.

With the application deadline set for October 14, 2025, KUCCPS has advised all interested candidates to begin the process early to avoid last-minute technical challenges.

As Kenya continues to strengthen its healthcare delivery systems, the intake is widely viewed as an important investment in the country’s future, ensuring that more skilled professionals are trained and placed in communities that urgently need them.
