Top Performers in Automotive, Insurance, and Asset Finance Recognised By NCBA

The annual Johari Awards once again shone a spotlight on excellence across Kenya’s automotive, insurance, and asset finance sectors, celebrating the top brands, dealerships, and individual professionals who achieved outstanding performance in 2025. The ceremony highlighted remarkable growth, market resilience, and the rising standards of service and innovation within the industries.
New Market – Best Brands (Dealership Volume)
In the highly competitive New Market segment, industry giants battled for top honours based on dealership volumes. CFAO Mobility Kenya Limited, Subdealers Daniel, secured the 2nd Runner-Up position, while Sinotruk Kenya Ltd and its subdealers emerged as 1st Runner-Up. The top spot – Overall Winner for 2025 – went to Isuzu East Africa Limited and its subdealers, reaffirming the brand’s dominance in Kenya’s automotive landscape.
Pre-Owned Market – Dealership Value
Dealerships that generated the highest referral value in the Pre-Owned category were also recognised. Cratos Automobile Ltd took the 2nd Runner-Up position, followed by Avix Motors Ltd – represented by Rashid – as the 1st Runner-Up. Carsoko Limited clinched the Top Sales (Overall Winner) award, celebrating its leadership in delivering exceptional value to customers nationwide.
Pre-Owned Market – Dealership Volume
For referral volumes in the Pre-Owned segment, Yahya Car Sales (K) Ltd – represented by Ushamdeen – was named 2nd Runner-Up. Waleed Motor Ltd’s Mary Mugure secured the 1st Runner-Up title, while Windsor Automobiles Limited claimed the coveted Top Sales (Overall Winner) award after a robust year of strong sales and customer referrals.
Gold Category – Insurance Brokers
Insurance brokers who booked over KSh 50 million in IPF business in 2025 were feted for their impressive contributions. ETG Insurance Broker Limited earned the 2nd Runner-Up position, with Shashi Insurance Brokers Limited taking 1st Runner-Up. Liaison Group (Insurance Brokers) Limited emerged as the Top Sales (Overall Winner), marking an exceptional year of performance in the insurance broking arena.
Insurance Companies – Top IPF Contributors
Top insurance companies driving IPF business were honoured for their crucial role in supporting motor asset financing. Old Mutual Insurance Company Limited was recognised as 2nd Runner-Up, followed closely by APA Insurance Company Limited as 1st Runner-Up. Jubilee Health Insurance Limited took home the Top Sales (Overall Winner) award, underscoring its leadership in the sector.
Asset Finance – Individual Overall Winners
Individual sales excellence was also celebrated, highlighting professionals who delivered the highest referral value in 2025. Lucy Minoo Mbilo of Buffalo TBS earned 2nd Runner-Up and a trip for two to Zanzibar for three nights. Charity Njoki Asembo of Printan Ltd secured 1st Runner-Up, winning a four-night trip for two to Dubai. The Top Sales (Overall Winner) was Patrick Wangombe of Ryce East Africa Ltd, rewarded with a four-night trip for two to Malaysia.
IPF – Individual Agents Linked to an Underwriter
Top-performing agents who drove the highest IPF business volumes were recognised with exciting travel rewards. Florence Wamaitha Mwaura took 2nd Runner-Up and won a two-night trip for two at Tsavo’s Salt Lick Safari Lodge. Rose Papa was named 1st Runner-Up, receiving a two-night experience for two at Maasai Mara’s Emaiyan Luxury Camp. The Top Sales (Overall Winner) award went to Rosemary Manyara, who earned a four-night trip for two to Diani’s Baobab Beach Resort.
The Johari Awards continue to serve as a benchmark for excellence, celebrating the innovators and market leaders who are shaping Kenya’s automotive and insurance sectors.
