Propak East Africa 2026 brought together a powerful community of manufacturers, suppliers, technology providers and industry leaders, reaffirming its position as the region’s most influential event for packaging, printing, plastics and processing. This year’s theme, “Driving Packaging, Printing, Plastics and Processing Industry Innovation and Development,” reflected the sector’s growing commitment to accelerating transformation and building more resilient value chains.

Tetra Pak played a central role at this year’s exhibition, engaging customers and partners around solutions built to support the region’s evolving food and beverage landscape.

Hosted at the Sarit Expo Centre from March 3–5, the exhibition provided a platform for meaningful dialogue, hands‑on demonstrations, and cross‑industry collaboration. Government representatives, private sector executives, and global brands explored innovations designed to enhance productivity, strengthen food safety and drive long‑term sustainability across East Africa.

“It is an honour to sponsor Propak East Africa 2026 as we celebrate a decade of industry excellence. At Tetra Pak, our purpose is to protect food, people, and the planet through innovations that strengthen food systems and support our customers’ growth. As East Africa’s food and beverage sector continues to expand, we remain committed to delivering efficient processing and packaging solutions, advancing sustainability, and building a circular economy. As we mark 70 years in the region, we thank our partners for their trust and look forward to shaping the future of the industry together,” said Jonathan Kinisu, Managing Director, Tetra Pak East Africa.

A standout moment for the team was receiving the Best Booth Award at Propak East Africa 2026, recognising the creativity, expertise and customer‑centric approach behind Tetra Pak’s exhibition space.

At the Conference, Tetra Pak got an opportunity to detail our expertise in the Future of Dairy processing and Innovation with a powerful presentation from the EA Processing Manager Boniface Mutisya. The presentation was a deep dive into innovation in the Dairy Industry, exploring what drives growth in the region’s food and beverage processing Sector.

The event was energised by strong engagement from customers, partners, regulators, and industry experts. Conversations throughout the week highlighted shared ambitions for growth, innovation and environmental stewardship, reinforcing the region’s momentum toward a more advanced and sustainable manufacturing ecosystem.

Propak East Africa 2026 concluded with renewed commitment across the sector and a clear outlook toward future collaboration, setting the stage for continued progress in the years ahead.
