THE COMPANY
Sears Pharmaceuticals Limited is a retail pharmacy chain with branches in Nairobi and
Mombasa. Our main branch / head quarter is located in Nairobi Central Business District.
LEGAL EXISTENCE
Sears Pharmaceuticals is a Private Company limited by shares. Being a retail pharmacy, the
business is registered by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board under the Pharmacy and Poisons Act

In addition to our physical branches, as a first in Kenya, we offer convenience through our
online retail pharmaceutical services on our online pharmacy at www.drugs.co.ke. This online
service offers drug purchases online and by telephone/fax/scan & email and delivery to client’s
homes and offices. This innovation promises to offer convenience, flexibility and reduced cost
to clients especially due to lost staff time while waiting at a hospital to pick medicine for ones
child, spouse or self instead of being at the workplace being productive.

PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
Quality Medicines
Sears and its affiliates stock and provide a wide range of quality branded and generic medicines.
Drug Information
The centers offer drug information and medication advice to clients in the form of brochures,
fliers, newsletters and face to face consultations. This includes information on dosing, choice,
adverse drug reactions, drug interactions, and adherence among others. This shall be offered as
a free value added service.
Chronic Disease Management
This product is targeted to patients under long term therapy for hypertension and/or diabetes.
The centers register these clients and maintain their client information in a specially designed
database. The centers provide medicines to the clients and in addition monitor their therapy
periodically in terms of blood sugar and blood pressure tests. The centers liaise with the client’s
physicians to provide advice on therapy, drug choice and therapy progress. These clients enjoy
preferential rates on ther medicines
Vaccination Services
Vaccination services will be provided for free but clients pay for the cost of the vaccine.
MANAGEMENT
The centers are managed by four highly qualified and competent pharmacists. We are
pharmacists by profession and have relevant experience and training in pharmacy, business
management and financial accounting. In addition the centers are staffed by qualified
pharmaceutical technologists.
