Jubilee Insurance Triumphs at Inaugural Agents Choice Awards

East Africa’s most trusted Insurer Jubilee Insurance was the most decorated Insurer at the just concluded inaugural 2015 Annual Agents’ Choice Awards organized by BIMA Intermediaries Association of Kenya. Jubilee won Best Customer Champion Award, Fastest Growing Company, Best Medical Underwriter and Runner up in the Training Excellence and Impact Award. Speaking from Jubilee offices, Jubilee CEO Patrick Tumbo, termed the win as a humbling industry recognition that asserts Jubilee’s efforts in maintaining an enthusiastic business relationship with its intermediaries. “We are grateful to our intermediaries who partner with us to ensure that our insurance solutions suit the needs of our clients. They have further contributed to Jubilee’s constant growth over the years and they have placed us at the top,” said Mr. Tumbo.

The inaugural Agents’ Choice Awards honor insurance industry players that have achieved outstanding reputation. Insurance industry players from around the country are considered for the awards by one of the most recognized industry player-THE INSURANCE AGENTS who determine the winner in each category by taking into account more than just performance. The awards apply a holistic approach to the judging process, including qualitative as well as quantitative criteria. These awards’ event brought together more than 5,000 agents including insurance companies’ short- listed managers, investors and press.

BIMA Intermediaries Association of Kenya Chairman Washington Ndegea said that Jubilee Insurance stood out among other participants for their proven relentless growth despite steep financial times. Earlier in the year, Jubilee Insurance won the most accolades at the Annual Insurance Awards, being recognized in almost all categories at the 2015 Think Business Awards. The Insurer won Socially Responsible Corporate, Medical Underwriter of the Year, Major Loss Award and General Insurer of the Year. Jubilee was also first runner up in Marketing Initiative, Best Customer Satisfaction General, Best Customer Satisfaction Award Life and Claim Settlement Life; and second runner up, ICT Award.
