Kenya Association of Manufacturers will be holding an evening event ‘’Sundowner’’ where the organization get to interact with the members. The theme of the event will be, ”Economic Outlook and Setting the Manufacturing Priority Agenda’’.

Key Speakers during the Sundowner will be Dr. Patrick Ngugi Njoroge who is the CBK Governor, Julius Korir, Principal Secretary of Industrialization and Enterprise Development, Mr Konstantin Makarov, Director at StratLink – Africa, Ltd and Nikhil Hira of Deloitte East Africa’s Nairobi Office.
Dr.Patrick Ngugi Njoroge is an economist and banker and the governor of the Central Bank of Kenya. He attended Strathmore College for his A-Level studies and later on graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at University of Nairobi of which he studied his Master of Arts in Economics from thereon he went to Yale University, where he graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy in economics.
Mr Korir has a Master’s of Business Administration (International Business) and is a Senior Manager in the field of international business development with extensive experience in export marketing, promotion and market research. He also has vast experience in investment promotion, programme development and project management.
Konstantin is the Founding Partner and Managing Director of StratLink – Africa. With over fourteen years of experience in the financial markets in general and emerging markets in particular, Konstantin brings a holistic approach addressing challenges facing companies and family offices operating in the emerging and frontier economies.
Nikhil Hira is a partner in Deloitte East Africa based in the Nairobi office. He currently heads up the tax practice for Deloitte in the region and in addition is the Technology, Media and Telecom industry leader.
He holds a BSc Joint Honours in Accountancy and Process Engineering from the University of Salford in Manchester, England. In addition, he is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Kenya. He is also registered with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda and the National Accountants and Auditors Board in Tanzania.
