​Tuskys Sets Aside KES 540mn for its Graduate Internship Program

Tuskys Supermarkets, on Saturday, announced it has set aside KES 540Mn this year for its graduate internship program.

Dr. Mercy Onsando, the Chairperson of the Jorum Kamau Foundation initiative made the announcement during ‘The Get Inspired Festival (#GFestKenya2016)’ at Safaricom Kasarani Stadium to an audience of over 5,000 youth to a day of Mentorship, Inspiration and Fun whose them was, “There are only two things will change your life; the people you meet and the books you read.”

“We will support and make sure the youth is motivated, support ‘words have power’.  One way of fighting poverty is through entrepreneurship Tuskys we are a brand committed to fight poverty,” She said.

She also said they will provide support to the Pepe Minambo Foundation in offering motivation to youth across the 47 counties.

Last year, the company announced a 5 year internship program that will see them take on 7500 graduates. They will train 1500 graduates every year for five years.
