Crown Berger Emerges Top Gainer of the Day

Crown Berger Ltd emerged today’s top gainer by posting a positive gain of 9.73 percent to close the day trading at a price of 62.00 shillings per share. E.A Portland Cement Ltd gained 9.64 percent at a price of 45.50 shillings per share while Kakuzi posted a gain of 9.63 percent at a price of 330.00 shillings per share.

Uchumi Supermarket Ltd and Eveready East Africa Ltd gained 8.57 and 7.41 percent respectively at a price of 5.70 and 2.90 shillings per share.

Limuru Tea Company Ltd was not lucky today as it emerged as the top loser of the day with 7.74 percent at a price of 775.00 shillings per share while British-American Investments Company Ltd came in as second loser with 3.08 percent at a price of 11.00 shillings per share.

National Bank Of Kenya, Diamond Trust Bank Kenya Ltd and E.A Cables Ltd were other top losers with 3.00, 2.71 and 1.96 percent respectively.

The table below shows the most traded in shares led by Safaricom Ltd with a volume of 22.24 million and a market capital of 661.08 billion.
