Rosecoco Beans Retailing Highest in Kisumu

A 90-kilogram bag of Rosecoco beans was being retailing at 7,200 shillings in Kisumu, 6,750 shillings in Eldoret, 6,550 shillings in Embu, 6,200 shillings in Nairobi, 6,000 shillings in Mombasa and 5,000 shillings in Kitale and Nakuru respectively.

A 110-kilogram bag of Groundnuts on the other hand were being sold as follows in selected towns across the country; 15,400 shillings in Mombasa, 14,300 shillings, 13,200 shillings in Nakuru, 12,500 shillings in Nairobi, 11,700 shillings in Eldoret, 10,000 shillings in Kisumu and 1,100 shillings in Embu.

A 90-kilogram bag of green grams in Eldoret, Kitale and Embu as per 2nd November 2016 was retailing at more than 10,000 shillings as compared to towns like Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu and Nakuru. Eldoret is where the market price is highest at 13,500 shillings, followed by Kitale at 11,700 shillings whereas in Mombasa, the same quantity was retailing at 8,550 shillings, making the lowest market price.
