Dry Maize Retailing Highest in Kisumu and Lowest in Eldoret

A 90-kilogram bag of dry maize is retailing at an average price of 3,683 shillings across the country with a high market price of 4,400 shillings in Kisumu and lowest in Eldoret at 3,200 shillings.

Finger Millet in the other hand had an average market price of 7,258 shillings for a 90-kilogram bag. This is how it was being sold in some of the towns: 8,100 shillings in Mombasa, 8,000 shillings in Kisumu, 7,400 shillings in Nairobi, 7,000 shillings in Nakuru, 6,700 shillings in Kitale and 6,300 shillings in Eldoret.

A 90-kilogram bag of Rosecocco beans was being sold highest in Kisumu at 10,000 shillings and lowest in Nakuru at 5,400 shillings. In Eldoret, the same quantity was going at 9,000 shillings, 7,600 shillings in Mombasa, 7,200 shillings in Nairobi, and 6,100 shillings in Kitale.

A 90 kilogram of Njahi had an average market price of 9,620 shillings. This is how it was being sold in some parts of the country: 11,700 shillings in Kitale, 9,400 shillings in Nairobi and 9000 shillings in Mombasa, Nakuru and Eldoret respectively.

A 110-kilogram bag of groundnuts is retaing as follows in some selected towns: 16,500 shillings in Mombasa, 14,300 shillings in Kitale, 14,000 shillings in Nakuru, 13,800 shillings in Nairobi, 12,600 shillings in Eldoret and 12,000 shillings in Kisumu.
