The Ridge: Cytonn Investments Unveils a New Project in Nairobi County

Cytonn Investments Management Limited on Monday unveiled the Ridge, which is their latest development on the list of their projects that are already in place.
Nairobi County Governor, Dr. Evans Kidero who graced the ground-breaking ceremony said that the County is ready to work hand in hand with Cytonn for the purpose of bringing change to the face of the capital city of Kenya.
“As the County of Nairobi, we will undertake to work with you to help us change the face of the city,” said Dr.Kidero.
The Governor also commended Cytonn Investments for the efforts that they have put into improving the livelihoods of the people of Nairobi and also in contributing to the development of the economy of Kenya.
Edwin Dande, the Chief Executive Officer of Cytonn Investments said that as a company, they tend to be unique from others who will quit when obstacles are thrown to them, adding that a path without obstacles was not worth going to.
“A lot of people will quit when obstacles are thrown to their way, but we do not,” said Dande.
Elizabeth Nkukuu who is the Investment Officer of Cytonn noted that at its peak, the Ridge is expected to create more than 1, 000jobs, majority of which will go to the local community.
The Ridge is a comprehensive and luxurious mixed use development located in Ridgeways, Nairobi approximately 10 km from the Central Business District (CBD), 300 meters from the junction of Kiambu Road and the Northern Bypass, 5 minutes’ drive from the Two Rivers Mall, the biggest shopping mall in East Africa, less than 5 minutes’ to Windsor Golf Club and 10 minutes’ from United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP) headquarters in Gigiri.
The development, which sits on 9.9 acres of land and touches the Northern Bypass, was inspired by the need for a work play environment that aims at bringing together people from different walks of life to share a luxurious and convenient lifestyle. The development comprises of residential and commercial spaces.
The residential development consists of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments. There are also options of 3 bedrooms with a domestic servant quarter, both standard and premium, and penthouses that occupy the topmost floor.
