Sukuma Wiki Retailing Highest in Mombasa and Lowest in Kisii

A 50-kilogram bag of kales was retailing highest in Mombasa at 1,500 shillings and lowest in Kisii at 500 shillings.

A 126-kilogram bag of cabbages, on the other hand, was being sold as follows: 4,400 shillings in Mombasa, 2,500 shillings in Kitale, 1,650 shillings in Nairobi, 1,600 shillings in Eldoret and Kisii respectively and 1,200 shillings in Kisumu and Nakuru respectively.

Tomatoes too have high prices as they have not yet stabilized following the drought that hit the country. A 64-kilogram bag was retailing as following in selected towns across the country: 6,400 shillings in Eldoret, 6,000 shillings in Kisii, 5,600 shillings in Mombasa, 5,000 shillings in Kisumu and Kitale respectively, 4,800 shillings in Nairobi and 2,800 shillings in Nakuru.

On the fruits market, avocados have still flooded the markets and a 90 kilogram was having the highest price of 3,000 shillings in Mombasa and Kisii had the lowest prices of 700 shillings.

A 126-kilogram bag of mangoes was being sold as follows: 4,000 shillings in Nakuru, 2,900 shillings in Kitale, 2,800 shillings in Nairobi, 2,500 shillings in Kisumu 2,000 shillings in Mombasa.
