Sameer Africa Tops the Counter at the NSE on Friday

The top gainer of the day at the Nairobi Securities Exchange was Sameer Africa with 8.89 percent at the price of 2.45 shillings per share.

Nairobi Business Ventures and Mumias Sugar Company gained 5.77 and 5.56 percent at the price of 2.75 and 0.95 shillings per share respectively.

Kakuzi and Stanlib Fahari Income – REIT gained 5.56 and 4.76 percent respectively at the price of 380.00 and 11.00 shillings per share respectively.

The top loser of the day was ARM Cement with 3.23 percent at the price of 9.00 shillings per share.

Total Kenya and Kenya Airways lost 3.13 and 1.98 percent at the price of 31.00 and 9.90 shillings per share respectively.

Sanlam Kenya and Eaagads lost 1.72 and 1.23 percent at the price of 28.50 and 20.00 shillings per share respectively.

The top mover of the day was Safaricom PLC after selling 8.33 million shares followed by Equity Group and Kenya Commercial Bank with 4.65 and 1.63 million shares respectively.

Kenya Electricity Generating Company and Mumias Sugar Company sold 1.56 and 1.39 million shares respectively.
