Entrepreneurship is like a journey set on a long and winding road full of ups and downs. As an entrepreneur, along with this path, there is stumbling and fall. Some stumble, fall and never rise to continue with the journey while some stumble, fall, roll and rise with a rejuvenated energy to continue with the journey.

Africa has an amazing young population that if well taken good care of, will take the continent to the next level. Unfortunately, most young people who have decided to venture into entrepreneurship have been made with numerous and unending challenges. The key challenges facing entrepreneurs in Kenya include inadequate funding, lack of access to funds and funding, the absence of credible mentorship, poor networking and partnerships.

Entrepreneurs, therefore, are in dire need of someone who is willing, ready and understanding to walk with them from nothing to something. Someone who will give them a listening ear and be ready to invest in their ideas even if the future may seem shaky.

The coming of Chivas Venture was a blessing to many young and aspiring entrepreneurs. Chivas provides a platform and ground for entrepreneurs to showcase, analyze and validate their ideas, make them into reality and discover new ways of perfecting their business models as well as pitching. The platform also gives hope to thousands of entrepreneurs and with the ultimate price in a place that would positively change their lives and that of the communities they are in touch with, the future always remains set and ready to bloom.

There is need for many entrepreneurs to be in company of the right team, building a team that will never give up on them, having a clear focus on their products, services as well as those they target with their products and services and being in a position of understanding their customers and putting the views of their customers into consideration, always.

On 23rd to 25th May 2018, Chivas Venture will be holding its Chivas Venture Finals in Amsterdam where entrepreneurs from around the world will be meeting to discuss, exchange ideas, pitch their ideas and stand a chance of winning the ultimate price.
