Sorghum Retailing Averagely at Ksh. 4,033 Across the Country

A 90-kilogram bag of Sorghum is averagely retailing at 4,033 shillings across the country with the highest market price being 5,400 shillings in Eldoret and the lowest price being 2,700 shillings in Mombasa.

A 90-kilogram bag of dry maize, on the other hand, is being sold at 3,200 shillings in Kisumu, 2,700 shillings in Isiolo, 2,600 shillings in Nairobi and Mombasa respectively, 2,200 shillings in Nakuru, 1,900 shillings in Kitale and 1,800 shillings in Eldoret.

Groundnut prices have remained high in most towns with a 110-kilogram bag being sold averagely at 14,200 shillings.

A 90-kilogram bag of Mwitemania Beans is retailing at 6,300 shillings in Nairobi, 4,800 shillings in Kitale, 4,500 shillings in Nakuru and Isiolo respectively and 3,900 shillings in Mombasa.

A 90-kilogram bag of Green grams, on the other hand, is being sold at 10,800 shillings in Kitale, 9,400 shillings in Nairobi, 9,000 shillings in Eldoret, 8,000 shillings in Kisumu, 7,200 shillings in Isiolo, 6,300 shillings in Nakuru and 4,680 shillings in Mombasa.
