A Look at the Market Prices of Fruits in Selected Towns Across Kenya

A 54-kilogram bag of Pawpaw is retailing highest in Isiolo at 3,800 shillings and lowest in Mombasa at 800 shillings.

In Kitale, the 54-kilogram bag of pawpaw is retailing at 3,300 shillings, 3,000 shillings in Nakuru, 2,700 shillings in Nairobi and Eldoret.

A 126-kilogram bag of Mangoes is being sold as follows in selected markets across the country: 3,500 shillings in Mombasa, 3,000 shillings in Nairobi and Nakuru, 2,600 shillings in Kitale and 2,000 shillings in Eldoret.

The table below gives a summary of market prices for fruits in selected markets:

A 57-kilogram bag of Passion Fruits is going for 6,840 shillings in Eldoret, 6,000 shillings in Mombasa, 5,000 shillings in Nairobi and Nakuru, 4,500 shillings in Isiolo and 4,400 shillings in Kitale.

A 95-kilogram bag of Lemons is retailing at 3,800 shillings in Kitale, 3,200 shillings in Mombasa, 2,850 shillings in Nairobi and Eldoret, 2,600 shillings in Isiolo and 2,500 shillings in Nakuru.
