Kenya Railways has announced additional trips on commuter rail routes to ease transportation in the city.

This is probably the best news to Nairobi commuters who have not only had to grapple with Matatu strikes but also contend with exaggerated bus fares.

The Kenya railways will now have their trains ferrying commuters from Kikuyu at 6:00 and arriving at Nairobi at 7:20. Residents of Ruiru, Embakasi, Syokimau, and Kahawa are some of the citizens set to enjoy the services.

The National Railways Company announced on its Twitter handle.
