A List of People President Uhuru Kenyatta Awarded on Jamhuri Day

BY Soko Directory Team · December 13, 2018 07:12 am

President Uhuru Kenyatta, once again disappointed a section of Kenyans when he conferred various awards to individuals he termed as important for “distinguished and outstanding services rendered to the nation in various capacities and responsibilities.”

The Head of State went ahead to award his political allies especially those close to his new-found friend Raila Odinga as well as other little-known Kenyans.

The president once again left out notable Kenyans such as Eliud Kipchoge who brought glory to Kenya after he literally smashed the world record in the Olympic marathon this year.

This is not the first time the President is dishing out controversial awards. Last year, he awarded the famous Githeri Man, just for eating Githeri during an election.
