Mumias Sugar Company Rules the Top Gainers’ Table on Tuesday

The top gainer of the day at the NSE was Mumias Sugar Company with 10.00 percent at the price of 0.33 shillings per share followed by Liberty Kenya with a gain of 9.62 percent at the price of 11.40 shillings per share.

Uchumi Supermarket and National Bank gained 9.52 and 6.38 percent at the price of 0.46 and 4.00 shillings per share respectively while Eaagads gained 5.77 percent at the price of 11.00 shillings per share.

The top loser of the day was Trans-Century with 5.81 percent at the price of 4.05 shillings per share followed by Stanlib Fahari Income – REIT at 4.44 percent at the price of 8.60 shillings per share.

Home Afrika, Sanlam Kenya, and I&M Holdings lost 4.29, 3.49 and 3.33 percent at the price of 0.67, `8.00 and 58.00 shillings per share respectively.

Safaricom was the top mover of the day after moving 27.88 million shares followed by KCB Group with 8.00 million shares.

Equity Group, Co-operative Bank and the East African Breweries moved 2.67, 1.17 and 1.06 million shares respectively.
