Sameer Africa Back as Top Gainer For The Second Time This Week

Sameer Africa was the top gainer of the day at the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) for the second time this week. Sameer Africa gained 10.00 percent at the price of 3.85 shillings per share.

Express and Trans-Century gained 9.97 and 9.29 percent at the price of 6.40 and 4.00 shillings per share respectively. Mumias Sugar and Limuru Tea gained 5.71 and 4.44 percent at the price of 0.37 and 470.00 shillings per share.

Uchumi Supermarket, Nairobi Securities Exchange, Carbacid Investments, BAT Kenya and TPS Eastern Africa (Serena) carried the day as the top 5 losers of the day.

Uchumi lost 7.89 percent at the price of 0.35 shillings per share followed by NSE and Carbacid Investments with a loss of 2.49 and 2.17 percent at the price of 11.75 and 9.00 shillings per share.

BAT Kenya and TPS Eastern Africa (Serena) lost 1.92 and 1.79 percent at the price of 510.00 and 19.15 shillings per share respectively.

For the third day running, Safaricom remained as the top mover of the day with 9.86 million shares followed by KCB Group and HF Group with 5.62 and 2.46 million shares respectively.

Equity Group and Barclays Bank of Kenya sold 1.94 and 1.13 million shares each during today’s session.
