Sameer Africa Edges Out Trans-Century to Emerge as Top Gainer of the Day

Sameer Africa emerged as the top gainer of the day after edging out Trans-Century that carried the day on Monday. Sameer Africa gained 7.94 percent at the price of 3.40 shillings per share.

Express and HF Group gained 6.90 and 6.78 percent at the price of 6.20 and 4.25 shillings per share respectively.

Umeme and Eaagads took the fourth and fifth positions among the top 5 gainers with 6.67 and 5.68 percent at the price of 8.00 and 13.95 shillings per share respectively.

Standard Group carried the day as the top loser of the day followed by Kenya Airways, Uchumi Supermarket, Britam Holdings, and Stanlib Fahari Income –REIT.

Standard Group lost 9.67 at the price of 27.10 shillings per share followed by Kenya Airways with 5.75 percent at the price of 4.75 shillings per share.

Uchumi Supermarket and Britam Holdings lost 4.76 and 3.14 percent at the price of 0.40 and 7.40 shillings per share while Stanlib Fahari Income – REIT lost 3.11 at the price of 8.72 shillings per share.

Safaricom was the top mover of the day with 3.40 million shares followed by Equity Group and Centum Investments Company with 2.07 and 1.13 million shares respectively.

Co-operative Bank and KCB Group sold 944,900 and 707,700 shares respectively.
