Sameer Africa Carries The Day As The Top Loser Of The Day

Sameer Africa was the top loser of the day at the Nairobi Securities Exchange on Thursday of 12^th September 2019 with 7.98 percent at the price of 3.00 shillings per share.

Nation Media Group and Uchumi Supermarket lost 6.76 and 6.67 percent at the price of 40.00 and 0.28 shillings per share respectively.

Bamburi Cement and Barclays Bank of Kenya lost 3.85 and 2.29 percent at the price of 100.00 and 10.65 shillings per share.

The top gainer of the day was Carbacid Investments who gained 9.94 percent at a price of 7.96 shillings per share followed by HF Group with 9.94 percent at the price of 5.20 shillings per share.

Sanlam Kenya, Co-operative Bank, and Nairobi Securities Exchange gained 6.76, 4.41 and 3.96 percent at the price of 18.95, 11.85 and 10.50 shillings per share respectively.

Safaricom was the top mover of the day with a volume of 1.17 million shares with a market capitalization of 1.09 trillion followed by Equity Group with 600,300 shares with a market capitalization of 143.40 billion.

Barclays Bank of Kenya and KCB Group sold 121,500 and 102,900 shares respectively while East African Breweries Limited sold 100,000 shares.
