Here Are Some Christmas Traditions That Have Lived Generations

Christmas is just around the corner and most people have traditions like going to the same place for a vacation or traveling to upcountry, the British royal family has had traditions for centuries and here are some that you have never heard of.
The royals send annual Christmas cards to well-wishers around the world
According to the royals’ official website, the Queen and Prince Philip send around 750 cards total, the Christmas card contains a family photo and the Queen personally signs each card which she starts signing when she is in the summer holiday.
The Queen donates to local charities in Windsor every year
Local charities annually receive donations from her majesty, in addition to this, the royal family’s website reveals that the monarch gives Christmas trees to Westminster Abbey, St. Paul’s Cathedral, St. Giles’ Cathedral and the Canongate Kirk in Edinburgh. The page also vaguely states that “churches and schools in the Sandringham area will also receive a tree from Her Majesty.”

One week before Christmas the Queen hosts a luncheon for her whole extended family.

Popsugar reports that Prince William and Prince Harry like to play a Christmas Eve game of pick-up Team William is said to wear Aston Villa socks while Team Harry wears Arsenal football.

In addition to the large Christmas tree and a large silver artificial tree in the dining room at Sandringham, The royal family enjoys multiple Christmas trees for the children where they each have a mini tree. The children also help in tree decorations.

Attending church on Christmas day
Every year on Christmas Day, the Queen is joined by her family for a church service at St. Mary Magdalene on the Sandringham Estate. Where they celebrate mass with the locals.

The Windsors reportedly assemble for a matchup every year after Christmas lunch. We definitely know who is winning this year Meghan, Duchess of Sussex with her acting skills who by the way is rumored to be pregnant.

Every year since 1952 the Queen has given an annual broadcast to the commonwealth, it has since been televised and the Royal family on Christmas watches it together.
That is the Royal family Christmas traditions as for me some of my family traditions are my whole family takes a road trip to the countryside annually a few days before Christmas, on Christmas day we attend church then have a barbeque party.
