Bad news to those of us who sneak out the office with our phones, seeking a toilet break during office hours, because here comes the slopping toilet. Soon, it won’t be fun anymore.
You know that moment of ‘some peace’ you go to seek after an intense work period? So you sneak out and think you will be back in no time? After all, you are just going to stretch a bit and get back to work? Apparently, you spend a lot of time out of work unknowingly, although to some it could be knowingly.
Somebody somewhere has seen your wayward ways and decided to teach you a lesson, by comng up with a concept of a slopping toilet.
This new toilet will see that only the needed amount of time is spent during toilet breaks, as its upper surface slopes downwards at a thirteen-degree angle.
Do you know what this means? It means that you won’t have the luxury of sitting in the loo, scrolling your phone and smiling, or reading a page of that novel you put down grudgingly, or even just thinking about life and building castles in the air. You will have to lean forward while sitting on the seat, something that the designer thinks will hasten whatever calls that took you there.
The idea is to save the global economy from deteriorating, as the toilet designer, Mohair Gill puts it.
Mohair says that this is the best toilet to save world businesses billions of that are wasted during these breaks.
According to Mohair, in the United Kingdom alone, a total of four billion Euros is lost per annum as a result of these wasted working hours.
“This toilet will help reduce the extended hours of breaks and as a result improve the economy,” explained Mohair on his website.
But as you can already imagine, most people do not like the slopping toilet idea and they have mocked it openly on social media, some making funny comments like wondering whether such a toilet would make President Trump tweet less.
What do you think? Can such a toilet improve your productivity at work?
