The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has added six symptoms to the list of Coronavirus symptoms which everyone across the globe needs to look out for to ensure not only their safety but that of those around them.

The new six symptoms identified with all symptomatic Coronavirus patients add to the list of previously identified symptoms by the CDC centers and have been said to be amongst literally every symptomatic patient.

Coronavirus which is a rare kind of deadly virus going by how fast it spreads and affects its victims continues to be studied all over the World as researchers rush against time to invent a vaccine as viruses are known not to have a cure given their mutation ability.

The newly added six coronavirus symptoms with the Centre for Diseases Control could take up to 14 days to start showing from the day one was exposed to the virus and include the following:

  1. New Loss of Taste
  2. Loss of smell
  3. Headaches
  4. Repeated shaking accompanied by chills
  5. Muscle pains
  6. Sore throat

Initially, the CDC had only registered a number of symptoms as listed below:

  1. Shortness of breath
  2. Cough
  3. Fever

“We can reliably say that these six symptoms go with Coronavirus,” Mario Ramirez, the former acting director of the office of Pandemics and Emerging Threats said.

Kenya currently has 363 confirmed Coronavirus cases which are spreading out in a number of counties with 14 deaths already registered and 114 recoveries marked.

Kenya has implemented a number of measures to curb the spread of Coronavirus amongst its citizens and they include a 7p pm to 5 am curfew, social distancing, wearing of masks, and regularly washing hands under running water with soap.
