List Of Cases Of Women Butchered Rise As Kenya Focuses On COVID-19

More than twenty-one females have been butchered in Kenya by sexual perverts and the cases range from toddlers, teenagers, adults to old grannies.
In the month of April 2020 alone which is yet to end, more than five women have been butchered in domestic violence while several of the cases have been committed by sexual perverts who defiled the minors.
The minor’s defilement and murder in this month of April 2020 range between 13 years of age and the latest 15 years of age.
Kisumu Class 7 Teen Is Murdered And Defiled In April
Tabitha Akinyi 13 years of age was a girl with high hopes and dreams to achieve as any other teenage girl, shy and beautiful as a flower sprouting till the day a pervert in Kisumu got notice of her.
Tabitha who was in class seven when was brutally butchered disappeared from her home at around 1 pm on a Friday never to be seen again, a mother lost her child in the most painful manner.
“What did my class seven daughter do to deserve the mutilation on her body? What did I do wrong my God that my daughter had to pay such a painful price?” the words of Ms. Martha Auma will for years ring in my mind.
The residents of Nyahera in Kisumu County where the murdered class seven pupil lived came out blaring and burnt down the house of a neighbor believed to have been behind the murdered and who was accused of being in a cult.
It is in the same village where a form one’s body was found butchered and her private parts slashed off, which is now clearly proving that there is a loose pervert and cultic individual in Urudi village and residents must beware.
No arrests have been made on the murder of Tabitha Akinyi more than ten days later and no concrete progress on the form one murdered in 2019 has been made.
Kirinyaga Domestic Murders In April
In Kirinyaga County, a 30-year-old unnamed woman in Kiandai village Kirinyaga county was butchered by her husband who hit her with a hammer on the head and proceeded to her hang her.
The murder of the 30-year-old mother of two happened on the 17th of April 2020 where her two children recorded their testimony and are now state witnesses.
At around 10th of April 2020, a judicial officer hacked her husband and daughter to death as they slept in their house at Kioru village in Ndia Constituency, Kirinyaga county, he was arrested and taken to Baricho police station.
Valerie Wanjiku, a 13-year-old, was a young soul looking to achieve her dreams as she was set to sit her class eight exams before she was butchered together with her father by her mother.
Valerie and her father Charles Murimi, 49 years of age were hacked by death by Valerie’s mother Naomi Wanjiku in their home in Kiouru village, Kirinyaga County on the 10th of April 2020.
Naomi Wanjiku a clerk at the Karatina Law courts was apprehended by police on the 12th of April for hacking her husband and daughter to death with an axe and attempting to murder her son.
In the horror of murders witnessed between January and April is the murder of spouses and young children with one such heartbreaking murder of an 18-months old baby, Nuru Deen, in her neighborhood.
The murder of baby Nuru Deen occurred in the same plot they lived in only for her body to be found in a neighboring house that the parents said implicated the caretaker.
According to Nuru Deen’s parents, she seemed to have been defiled before being murdered as her clothes had been removed, the parents are yet to find justice months later.
