Apart from worrying about the fast-spreading Covid-19, Kenyans have something else to burden them, thanks to the government; fuel prices.

As fuel prices around the world come down, Energy Petroleum and Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has increased the price of diesel, kerosene, and petrol.

A liter of diesel has gone up by 11.38 shillings. That is super petrol has increased by 17.38 shillings while a liter of kerosene has risen by 2.98 shillings.

With the new prices, a liter of super petrol in Nairobi will go for 100.48 shillings, that of diesel at 91.87 shillings while that of kerosene at 65.45 shillings.

Prices will be slightly lower in Mombasa at 98.11 shillings for a liter of super petrol, 89.50 shillings for a liter of diesel, and 63.09 shillings for a liter of kerosene.

Those in Nakuru will part with 100.26 shillings for a liter of super petrol, 91.83 shillings for a liter of diesel, and 65.47 shillings for a liter of kerosene.

Motorists and residents of Eldoret town will pay 101.18 shillings for a liter of super petrol, 92.75 shillings for a liter of diesel, and 66.40 shillings for a liter of kerosene.

Residents of Kitale and Webuye will pay 101.54 and 101.60 shillings for a liter of super petrol, 93.10 and 93.17 shillings for a liter of diesel, and 66.75 and 66.82 shillings for a liter of kerosene.

Our brothers and sisters in Kisumu will pay 101.17 shillings for a liter of super petrol, 92.74 shillings for a liter of diesel, and 66.39 shillings for a liter of kerosene.

Kenyans have received the news to increase fuel prices while the prices around the world are coming down with mixed reactions.

The majority of Kenyans feel the government of Jubilee gives no damn about them and what Covid-19 is doing to them in terms of income. They feel cartels in the fuel sector want to make billions when the prices globally are down.

Who will stand for the poor Kenyans?
