SuperSport viewers on DStv can look forward to seeing all the action from the PGA Tour’s RSM Classic at the Sea Island Golf Club in Georgia, Atlanta from Thursday 18 to Sunday 21 November 2021.

SuperSport is the ultimate destination for golf fans, with an unparalleled selection of action from around the world.

Hosted by former United States Ryder Cup captain David Love III, this will be the 12th edition of the RSM Classic (formerly known as the McGladrey Classic) and sees defending champion Robert Streb – who claimed last season’s title by defeating Kevin Kisner in a playoff – looking to win the tournament for a record-extending third time.

“It’s really nice to say I’ve got more than one [win],” explained the American, who won his first RSM Classic in 2014. “Winning more than once … validates what ability you have. It was just kind of unexpected and super nice to get [a second win].”

One of the other players to watch at the RSM Classic will be Rickie Fowler, who is looking to end the year on a high and ensure that he earns a place at next season’s Masters. The 32-year-old has struggled to get back to the peak form that saw him win the 2015 Players Championship.

In order to make the Masters field, he will need to either win a PGA Tour event or be among the top 50 in the world two weeks prior to the first major championship. Winning would also get him in the Players Championship, as would be among the top 50 in the world or top 10 in FedEx Cup points.

“Everyone’s gone through ups and downs in golf,” said Fowler. “When you’re in those low points, there’s times when you wonder like ‘Am I ever going to be back in that position?’ Obviously, you believe that you can, but there are those thoughts [that] golf is obviously one of the most humbling sports there is and you can never take it for granted.

“So being in those positions, you know where you want to be, you know you can be there, you’ve been there before, but it seems like a long uphill battle. It’s definitely been humbling. We’ve been patient, but it’s nice to see some stuff start paying off.”

The Seaside and Plantation Courses at the Sea Island Golf Club are 7,005-yard par 70 and 7,058-yard par 72 courses. The purse for the RSM Classic is $7.2million.
