GOtv Expands Network Coverage To Nanyuki

GOtv has announced the launch of a new transmission site across Nanyuki. Customers in Nanyuki, Timau, Naro Moru, Doldol, and Thigitu can now access unmatched entertainment available on the GOtv service with clear picture quality and affordable world-class entertainment.
Laikipia County Executive Committee (CEC) Member for Trade, Tourism and Cooperatives, Biwott Tirop while commissioning the site said, “The launch of the GOtv site will accord the residents of Nanyuki and neighboring areas an opportunity to plug into a wider selection of entertainment. The county government also welcomes this move as it will unlock more employment opportunities for residents of this area. We look forward to a continued partnership with MultiChoice Kenya as we look to enhance the existing mutual partnership.”
Speaking during the launch event Nancy Matimu, MultiChoice Kenya Managing Director said, “It is a proud moment for us as we launch these new sites will offer more Kenyans access to information, education, and entertainment available on over 70 channels on the GOtv platform. With the economic effects of the pandemic felt, consumers are increasingly price-conscious and selective in their non-essentials spending. The launch of these new sites also plays a key role in supporting the government’s agenda to increase access to credible information and affordable entertainment to Kenyans in all parts of the country.”
GOtv currently has 24 sites countrywide and 6 new sites including Nanyuki that will be launched in the coming weeks. This will take the number of sites across the country to 30 making GOtv the pay-tv provider with the widest coverage network.

GOtv Supa, which unlocks a world of the finest entertainment and lifestyle channels for the entire family with 70+ entertainment channels including premium local and international channels namely Maisha Magic Plus, TL Novelas channel, Honey Channel, Food Network, Maisha Magic Poa, and Mambo Moto channel; as well as SuperSport Select 1 and 2 offering games from the Premier League, La Liga and Serie A matches and a 24-hour WWE Channel, National Geographic for lovers of wildlife and nature; and Akili Kids, Nick Junior, Boomerang and Nick Toons for the kids among other entertainment channels. GOtv Plus is GOtv’s top-tier package and is available for only Sh. 1,499 a month.
GOtv customers in these areas can also subscribe to GOtv Max at Sh. 1,150 with 55 local and international channels, GOtv Plus offers over 45 channels at Sh. 870, GOtv Value available for Sh. 550 a month with over 30 channels, and GOtv Lite which is available for only Sh. 265 per month with over 20 channels including local favorites Maisha Magic East, Akili Kids, and TV 47.

Customers have the option to upgrade to a package that best suits their viewing needs after purchase.
Sales and aftersales support within these regions are available at partner network outlets and service center outlets where customers can access a full range of services including decoder purchases, payment of subscriptions, package upgrades and downgrades, decoder diagnostics, customer care support, software upgrades, repair or replacement of faulty decoders, customer education (self-help service techniques), installation services and purchase of accessories among others.
