The first live-action on ESPN arrives on the evening of Friday 11 March and sees the Basketball Africa League (BAL) take center stage, with SLAC v CFV Beira and DUC v US Monastir (19:30 and 23:00 respectively LIVE on ESPN).

The BAL continues through the weekend and early working week, featuring two games a day on Saturday 12 (16:00 and 19:30 LIVE on ESPN), Monday 14 (19:30 and 23:00 LIVE on ESPN), and Tuesday 15 March (19:30 and 23:00 LIVE on ESPN).

“We are excited for the tip-off of this highly anticipated season two of the BAL,” said FIBA Africa and BAL Board President Anibal Manave.  “The Road to BAL 2022, which was successfully completed at the end of last year, provided fans with some exciting close games and captivating action. We are optimistic that this expanded BAL season will be a huge success.”

Sunday 13 March is all about football, starting in the early morning with a Major League Soccer (MLS) clash which sees Orlando City host Cincinnati FC (01:30 LIVE on ESPN). The afternoon then features a trio of Eredivisie games – Fortuna Sittard v Willem II (13:10 LIVE on ESPN), Utrecht v PSV (15:20 LIVE on ESPN) and PEC Zwolle v Feyenoord (17:35 LIVE on ESPN) – before the late evening has another MLS match, with Atlanta United taking on Charlotte FC (22:50 LIVE on ESPN).

The first live-action on ESPN 2 arrives on the morning of Friday 11 March and features a National Rugby League (NRL) clash from Australia, as the Broncos play host to the Rabbitohs (11:00 LIVE on ESPN 2). Friday evening is then dedicated to action from the Eredivisie, with Dutch champions Ajax traveling to Cambuur (20:50 LIVE on ESPN 2).

Saturday 12 March opens with more NRL action, as Storm travel to take on the West Tigers (10:30 LIVE on ESPN 2), before back-to-back EFL Championship action, as Barnsley host Fulham (14:25 LIVE on ESPN 2) and Stoke City visit Peterborough United (16:55 LIVE on ESPN 2), and the evening sees an MLS clash between Inter Miami and Los Angeles FC from Fort Lauderdale in Florida (20:30 LIVE on ESPN 2).

Fulham manager Marco Silva has called on his team to be more ruthless as they chase an automatic promotion berth: “I took positives. It was frustrating we didn’t get the result we wanted and I thought we deserved, but that’s football,” said the Cottagers boss.

“At this level, when you have chances to be more clinical, the second goal would’ve made us more comfortable and made things more difficult for our opponents. It’s a long journey for us all, it’s a big fight. Now, we have to analyze this one and prepare for the next one and nothing more.”
