KEY POINTS

The challenges we are facing will not be addressed by the current crop of political class. Only Raila Odinga merits the title of leader in the country. The rest are mere politicians who are ethically challenged, morally bankrupt, and spiritually demonic.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

Since we as Kenyans hate to think at all, leave alone critical thinking, let me elucidate what I mean with my cryptic headline. The phrase "Kenya needs a benevolent empath dictator with an affinity to fidelity to the Constitution" calls for a leader with a unique combination of qualities: strong leadership, compassion, and commitment to upholding the rule of law.

Kenya is going through the worst political rebirth in its entire history. We are facing a future with a lot of uncertainty. Kenya is crying for a leader who will be able to manage her better with her people in the future.

I believe I hold the answer to what kind of a leader Kenya deserves. We need a benevolent empath dictator with a deep affinity for fidelity to the Constitution and the rule of law.

The current democracy as enshrined in our Constitution is that of a Constitution Democracy and hence making me opine that we need a leader who has all these qualities put together.

Since we as Kenyans hate to think at all, leave alone critical thinking, let me elucidate what I mean with my cryptic headline. The phrase “Kenya needs a benevolent empath dictator with an affinity to fidelity to the Constitution” calls for a leader with a unique combination of qualities: strong leadership, compassion, and commitment to upholding the rule of law. Such a leader would be devoted to improving the well-being of the people, addressing societal issues with understanding and empathy, while also ensuring that all actions and policies are in line with the principles enshrined in the country’s constitution. While the concept of a “benevolent empath dictator” is not without its challenges and potential risks, the hypothetical scenario described aims to highlight the potential benefits of a leader who combines authority with compassion and respect for the rule of law.

As an entrepreneur and industrialist in a country that hates job makers, I believe that the issue of reducing the cost of living, having affordable energy, creating jobs, ending corruption, streamlining proper sustainable reforms in the tax code, reforming the police sector from how we recruit them to how they are trained to handle issues are possible with a leader who has benevolent dictatorial tendencies, with a shade of an empath whose fidelity to the Constitution is unrivaled. I have said before on several occasions that reducing the cost of living is not possible because of political reasons. What many of us fail to understand is that the current political class lacks any political will to change the fortunes of the country for the better. All they are seeing is how best they can fulfill the desires of their stomachs and wallets. Business, Money, economics, and growth are all functions of the political ecosystem. We cannot separate these from politics hence why the leader we pick must have the right qualities, the needed characteristics, and the drive to push through change without compromising on his integrity.

Reducing the cost of food is easy. Having cheap and affordable energy is possible and achievable. Ending corruption would be a walk in the park. Creating the right business environment is easy as saying amen. Addressing the rising insecurity would be achieved with critical reforms in the hiring, training, and management of the police force. Dubai had done it. Saudi has done it. Finland has done it. Norway has done it. Botswana is doing it. Why can’t we do it too? Are we different? Are we a lesser race? No. We can do it. In fact, we can do it better than any other country. We produced the FIRST Black USA President. In conjunction with Tanzania, we have produced the current UK Prime Minister. We have dominated long-distance running for ages and we are about to take over the short races. So yes, we have what it takes. So what is the problem when it comes to the leaders we elect? My SI unit question to leadership when having a conversation with my fellow Kenyans is this; would you employ a thief or a murderer or drunkard or an ethically challenged person as your house girl? 100% the answer is always no. So why do we employ ethically challenged Kenyans to be in charge of our national resources where we complain daily?

The challenges we are facing will not be addressed by the current crop of political class. Only Raila Odinga merits the title of leader in the country. The rest are mere politicians who are ethically challenged, morally bankrupt, and spiritually demonic. I say it’s only Raila Odinga because he has never practiced political prostitution. He resigned as an MP for Kibera and sought a fresh political mandate from his constituents. The kind of political prostitution that we are witnessing is not only despicable but unconstitutional because the likes of Jalang’o should have resigned and sought a fresh mandate on a new party. Unfortunately, this crop of politicians is not in power to serve you and me but to appease the demons that churn their tummies, to seduce young girls and boys to meet their insatiable unbridled desires. Indeed a sad time for Kenya.

The phrase “Kenya needs a benevolent empath dictator with an affinity to fidelity to the Constitution” suggests a desire for a leader with strong leadership qualities, compassion, and adherence to the country’s legal framework. This is possible because we are a very young democracy and it’s high time we crafted our own path. What do I mean by a benevolent dictator who is an empath and has a deep affinity to the fidelity of the Constitution? Let me break down this leader.

  1. Benevolent Empath Dictator: In this context, a “benevolent empath dictator” refers to a leader who wields significant authority but uses that power in a compassionate and understanding manner. This leader genuinely cares for the welfare of their citizens, striving to address their needs and concerns with empathy and kindness. They make decisions that promote the greater good and foster a sense of unity and well-being among the populace. For example, the leader might implement policies aimed at reducing poverty, improving healthcare access, and providing education opportunities for all citizens, ensuring that the nation’s resources are distributed fairly to benefit the most vulnerable members of society.
  2. Affinity to Fidelity to the Constitution: This phrase emphasizes the importance of the leader’s commitment to upholding and respecting the country’s constitution. A leader with an “affinity to fidelity to the Constitution” is devoted to the rule of law and ensures that all actions and policies align with the principles and values outlined in the Constitution. This leader respects the separation of powers, the independence of the judiciary, and the rights and freedoms of the citizens. For instance, the leader might prioritize anti-corruption measures and support the independence of the judiciary to guarantee fair trials and protect the rights of individuals, regardless of their social or political status.

I believe only such a leader would turn around the dwindling fortunes of Kenya in under Two years. Am I dreaming? As an expert on leadership and governance, this kind of leader is what we need and I believe if we decided to vote for politicians in the same manner we pick and employ house girls or the politically correct term as house managers, then we can rescue Kenya before it’s too late.
