Get The President A New Car, Not An Office

The office of the President has been allocated 2.3 billion shillings for “renovations.” It seems this office is always under “renovations.” It also seems the new term to loot public resources is to use the term “renovations.” 2.3 billion shillings can build a whole new office and have some cash remaining for stealing.

Why do we need to “renovate” the office anyway? President William Ruto is rarely there. When was the last time you saw the President at his office working? The President is rarely at his office. Since the beginning, we all know that our President is Bwana Safari.

The President works more from the top of cars than in the office. If he is not in Migori catching flying shoes, he is in Narok handing over the Mau Forest Title Deed and commissioning the “construction” of Narok International Airport. If he is not in Narok, he is in a Church somewhere giving an offering of 20 million shillings.

I do not think the President needs a renovated office at the moment, for 2.3 billion shillings. We know that cash will be stolen. The President needs a new car that is “flying-shoe-proof.” A new car that has an office desk will cost way less than 2.3 billion shillings. Or get him a bus instead.

Our schools are almost shutting down because there are no capitation funds, but 2.3 billion shillings for “renovations” cannot miss. Our hospitals have no medicine because “there is no money”, but again, we must have the 2.3 billion shillings for “renovations.”

Let us use our brains this time. Get the President a new car. Send the remaining amounts to school, after stealing a little, of course. Khabusie.
