NCBA Partnership Powers Petercrest School’s Growth in Eldoret

At the heart of Petercrest School’s success story in Eldoret lies a powerful partnership with NCBA Bank, a collaboration that has transformed vision into reality and continues to fuel the school’s mission of nurturing tomorrow’s leaders.
From the school’s inception to its steady rise as a premier institution, NCBA has been more than just a banker—it has been a trusted partner. “From the very first idea to the grand opening, NCBA has been there every step of the way, providing financial solutions, guidance, and partnership to turn ambition into reality,” NCBA noted in a statement.
The collaboration began when Petercrest sought to introduce the international curriculum. NCBA stepped in, streamlining the school’s financial operations by offering a reliable payroll system, NCBA Connect, paybill services, and acting as the official school fees payment point. For Evans Ogero, the school’s Administrator, this support was not only timely but transformational: “Our relationship with NCBA started with a vision. They believed in us, walked hand-in-hand with us, and made our dreams possible.”
This foundation of financial empowerment has enabled Petercrest to channel its energy toward what matters most—academic excellence, character formation, and holistic growth for its learners.
Today, with about 50 teaching and non-teaching staff and a student population of 600, Petercrest stands as a beacon of education in Uasin Gishu County. The school’s commitment extends beyond classrooms: 70% of its non-teaching staff are drawn from the local community, and the majority of its supplies are sourced from within the county—making it not only a center of learning but also a hub of empowerment.

Petercrest’s philosophy is simple yet profound: education goes beyond exams. “We want our students to leave Petercrest equipped not only with knowledge but with values, confidence, and resilience to face an ever-changing world,” said Mr. Ogero. Teachers and mentors work closely with learners to instill discipline, empathy, and integrity, qualities essential for shaping responsible global citizens.
The school also provides a vibrant co-curricular environment, offering opportunities in sports, creative arts, science clubs, and community service. This balanced approach allows learners to discover their talents while developing leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Yet, at every milestone, NCBA’s partnership remains central—a reminder that education thrives when vision meets support. Together, Petercrest and NCBA have built more than a school; they have built a legacy of empowerment, resilience, and opportunity for the next generation.
