Kenya Airways To Repatriate Passengers Between Nairobi and Dubai

BY Soko Directory Team · March 4, 2026 07:03 pm

Kenya Airways has announced that it will operate special repatriation flights between Nairobi and Dubai on March 4 and March 5, 2026, following approvals from Dubai Airport authorities.

In a customer update issued on March 4, 2026, the national carrier said it will operate a Nairobi–Dubai repatriation flight on March 4 and a Dubai–Nairobi flight on March 5. The flights have been cleared after Dubai Airport Management granted limited slots in line with guidance from UAE authorities, allowing a gradual resumption of restricted operations at Dubai International Airport (DXB) beginning March 2, 2026.

The airline clarified that the flights are strictly for repatriation purposes and are not part of its regular scheduled operations. They are intended to facilitate travel for customers who are either citizens or residents of the United Arab Emirates and need to travel between Nairobi and Dubai.

Kenya Airways advised affected customers in Dubai not to proceed to DXB Airport until they receive confirmed departure details directly from the airline. The carrier emphasized that communication will be sent to eligible passengers with specific flight times and further instructions.

Customers have also been urged to regularly check their flight status on the airline’s official website and update their contact information through the “Manage Booking” portal to ensure they receive real-time updates.

The airline apologized for the inconvenience caused by the temporary disruption of scheduled services, reiterating that the safety of its crew and customers remains its highest priority. It added that it will continue to engage directly with affected passengers to provide necessary assistance.

For additional support, customers can contact Kenya Airways’ Customer Excellence Team via phone, WhatsApp, or through its official social media support channel on X.

Kenya Airways further noted that scheduled passenger operations to Dubai have not yet resumed, describing the situation as dynamic. The airline said it will provide updates as soon as additional information becomes available and confirmed schedules are approved by UAE authorities.
