The World Authority on Trust is Coming to Kenya

BY David Indeje · July 15, 2016 08:07 am

“The ability to establish, grow, extend and restore trust, is the key professional competency of our time,” these are the words of Stephen Covey.

Trust in institutions and their license to operate is no longer automatically granted on the basis of hierarchy or title; rather, in today’s world, trust must be earned and this is why the father of trust is coming to Kenya. Stephen M.R. Covey, the celebrated author of The Speed of Trust will be making a maiden tour in Kenya soon in an event that you don’t want to miss.

In an event that has been organized by Raiser Resource Group, a regional company that has its roots firmly rooted in performance improvement, Stephen M.R Covey will be discussing the economics of trust and its impact on organizations and society.

“At Raiser, we are thrilled to bring Stephen M.R. Covey to our Speed of Trust forum where he will share his informed, practical approach to real-time issues that affect organizations’ immediate and long-term performance. He will give attendees a greater vision of trust as a measurable, strategic advantage as well as share the behaviors and tools common to all high-trust leaders around the world,” said Mr. Ian Ng’ethe, Chief Executive Officer of Raiser Resource Group.

This will be a two-day seminar on August 30th and 31st where more than 100 top chief executives, business owners as well as entrepreneurs are expected to meet with this renowned author during his visit.

“Covey will hold two sessions on the importance of trust; the first for leading CEOs in Kenya and the second will be for leaders across various industries’, added Mr. Ng’ethe.

M.R. Covey is both a New York Times as well as Wall Street Journal bestselling author of The Speed of Trust: The One Thing That Changes Everything.

“Trust is the foundational driver for an organization’s sustained success. It is for this reason that companies that have created trust as a competency, have a stronger competitive edge, notice a growth in market share, and have the loyalty of their employees, customers and partners” said Mr. Ng’ethe.

Trust is relevant in building and developing business and if you wish to know the power of trust and what it is capable of doing for your business, then join other industry leaders in the Speed of Trust event this August.
