Veteran News Anchor Catherine Kasavuli Is Dead

Veteran news anchor Catherine Kasavuli has died. She died this morning at Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) after battling cervical cancer.

The announcement of her passing was done by Kenya Broadcasting corporation (KBC) Managing Director Samuel Maina. Until her dead, Kasavuli was working with the national broadcaster.

She was the first female news anchor in Kenya. She has worked with the Royal Media Services (Citizen), Kenya Television Network (KTN) and Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC).

She had gone into retirement before KBC poached her talent back to come and grace the screens. She has also been hailed for growing talents across the country.
