Barclays Bank dominates the Top Movers’ Table during the Session on Thursday

Barclays Bank of Kenya was the top mover of the day at the NSE after selling 18.46 million shares followed by Safaricom Plc who sold 12.46 million shares.

Equity Group and WPP ScanGroup sold 3.20 and 3.04 million shares respectively while NIC Bank sold 1.48 million shares.

Car and General (K) was the top gainer of the day with 9.78 percent at the price of 25.25 shillings per share followed Express with 8.11 percent at the price of 8.00 shillings per share.

Trans-Century, Standard Group, and Nairobi Securities Exchange gained 7.35, 7.04 and 6.38 percent at the price of 3.65, 28.90 and 15.00 shillings per share respectively.

The top loser was the British American Tobacco with 9.97 percent at the price of 578.00 shillings per share followed by Flame Tree Group with a loss of 9.62 percent at the price of 2.35 shillings per share.

Olympia Capital, Eaagads and HF Group lost 9.26, 7.51 and 6.53 percent at the price of 2.45, 16.00 and 6.30 shillings per share respectively.
