The annual Made In Kenya Extravaganza will take place from November 18, 2021, to November 21. The four-day event will be a unique platform for Kenyans to learn from and engage with everything that is Kenyan in its entire diversity and splendor.

According to the organizers, the event will be a celebration of Kenyan corporate brands through partnerships and
made in Kenya products through exhibitions. This year (2021) will see the very first one being hosted at the Nyayo National Stadium.

The Extravaganza will play a role in creating awareness and pride in Kenyan-made products and services as well as creating an annual consumer-trade platform where local businesses involved in the production of Kenya goods can showcase their goods and services during the extravaganza.

At the same time, the event will help in the embracing of TVET (Technical and Vocational Education & Training) as a key driver for building a strong made in Kenya brand. It will also drive conversation and partnerships on the sidelines of the exhibition with key stakeholders of the made in Kenya initiative.

The event comes at a time the world is still battling the readily Covid-19 pandemic that is still sweeping across the world. As a result of the pandemic, many businesses shut down and millions of people within and without Kenya lost their jobs.

The government of Kenya has since lifted the curfew that was in place for more than a year. Many businesses are now striving to get back on their feet as the future begins to brighten. The Extravaganza is set to inspire and instill hope that all is not lost.
