Sound of Boney M Coming to Kenya

The hits for the vocal group Boney M, created by the German record producer Frank Farian will be blazing in Kenya this September. The group is well known for its popularity during the disco era of the late 1970’s.

Despite the bands catalogue being remixed, remade and reissued throughout the 80’s to 2000’s, Boney M’s discography was quite unusual, with the help of Frank Farian and BMG (now Sony music) they kept their original versions on vinyl and unavailable on CD until 2008.

Known for their hit singles like ‘Daddy Cool’ and ‘Rivers of Babylon’ that drove crowds crazy back in the day, the sound of Boney M is set to bring a whole range of timeless tunes from the 70’s and take you completely back in time with their moves and style.

The iconic Euro-disco group will feature one of Boney M’s original lead singer, Sheyla Bonnick and will perform the original dance records from back in the day for both the old and the youth who missed the 70s performances.

The event which will happen at the Safari Park hotel on 5th September is promoted by Henderson Events Limited together with Neil Ribeiro International Concepts Goa who organized a successful evening with Abba Tribute show early this year.
