Co-Operative Bank among top 100 Best Employers in Kenya

Brighter Monday has released a list of the best 100 companies in Kenya that Kenyans die to work for.

According to the report, Co-operative Bank of Kenya is among the best 100 employers in the country according to responses from 57 percent and 43 percent male and female employees respectively.

According to those who took part in the survey that came up with the report, employees of such companies as Co-operative Bank are willing to stay and protect their employer because the employer gives them job security, good pay, and proximity to work.

Employees interviewed cited pride, culture, career opportunities, diversity and inclusion as well as pay package as top five qualities of why they prefer their current employer.

Among the companies, female employees are more at the entry level at 33 percent compared to 32 percent of their male counterparts with the same being replicated at the mid-level with 51 percent female and 50 male.

Other companies that Kenyans love and prefer working for include: the United Nations, Kenya Electricity Generating Company, Google, Kenya Revenue Authority, Centum, Kenya Power and Lighting Company, Pricewater Coopers, Unilever, Coca-Cola, Kenya Pipeline Company, Kenya Airways, Kenya Commercial Bank, KPMG, British American Tobacco and World Bank.

Others include Britam, Total, Kenyan Government, World Vision, Equity Bank, Cytonn Investments Limited, Central Bank of Kenya among others as shown in the image below:
