Top Gainers

The top gainer’s table was ruled by Express which gained 10.00 percent at the price of 4.95 shillings per share.

Nairobi Business Ventures was the second top gainer of the day with 9.52 percent at the price of 2.30 shillings per share.

The third top gainer was Olympia Capital with 7.14 percent at the price of 3.00 shillings per share followed by WPP ScanGroup with 5.41 percent at the price of 18.50 shillings per share.

Eveready East Africa closed the top five gainers’ section with 5.26 percent at the price of 2.00 shillings per share.

Top Losers

Flame Tree Group was the top loser of the day. The company lost 5.95 percent at the price of 3.95 shillings per share.

Centum Investments, which issued a profit warning, lost 5.59 percent at the price of 38.00 shillings per share.

British American Tobacco and Home Afrika lost 4.76 percent each at the price of 600.00 and 1.00 shillings per share respectively.

Kakuzi was the fifth top loser with 4.05 percent at the price of 355.00 shillings per share.

Top Movers

Safaricom retained its position as the top mover of the day after selling 6.72 million shares followed by Equity Group that sold 2.30 million shares.

Kenya Commercial Bank and Stanbic Holdings sold 2.30 and 2.09 million shares respectively while Kenya Power and Lighting Company sold 1.23 million shares.
