Spring Onions Retailing Averagely at Ksh. 1,119 Across the Country

Spring Onions is retailing at an average market price of 1,119 shillings across the country for a 142-kilogram bag, with Kitale having the highest market price and Nakuru and Eldoret having the lowest market prices.

A 138-kilogram bag of Carrots is being sold as follows: 6,300 shillings in Mombasa, 5,600 shillings in Kitale, 5,600 shillings in Kitale, 4,140 shillings in Nairobi, 3,500 shillings in Kisumu and Isiolo respectively, 3,000 shillings in Nakuru and Kakamega respectively and 2,500 shillings in Eldoret.

A 126kilogram bag of Cabbages, on the other hand, is being sold with the following market prices: 4,300 shillings in Mombasa, 2,000 shillings in Kitale and Kakamega respectively, 1,800 shillings in Kisumu, 1,600 shillings in Eldoret, 1,500 shillings in Nairobi and 1,000 shillings in Nakuru and Isiolo respectively.

In the fruits market, a 57-kilogram bag of Passion Fruits is being sold with the following market prices in selected towns: 6,500 shillings in Mombasa, 5,700 shillings in Nairobi, 5,500 shillings in Kitale, 5,000 shillings in Nakuru, 4,560 shillings in Eldoret, 4,500 shillings in Isiolo and 3,100 shillings in Kisumu.

A 95-kilogram bag of Lemons, on the other hand, is retailing as follows: 4,750 shillings in Kitale, 3,000 shillings in Mombasa, 2,850 shillings in Nairobi, 2,000 shillings in Eldoret and Isiolo and 1,600 shillings in Kisumu.
