East African Cables Kicks Off the Week as Top Gainer of the Day

The East African Cables was the top gainer of the day with 6.17 percent at the price of 4.30 shillings per share at the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE).

The second top gainer was Flame Tree Group with 5.26 percent at the price of 4.00 shillings per share. Carbacid Investments gained 4.59 percent at the price of 11.40 shillings per share.

Kenya Commercial Bank and Nation Media Group gained 2.69 and 2.27 percent at the price of 47.75 and 90.00 shillings per share respectively.

The top loser of the day was ARM Cement 8.97 percent at the price of 3.55 shillings per share. Eveready East Africa and Liberty Kenya lost 6.45 and 5.11 percent at the price of 1.45 and 13.00 shillings per share respectively.

Stanlib Fahari Income – REIT and Uchumi Supermarket lost 4.55 and 3.70 percent at the price of 10.30 and 1.30 shillings per share respectively.

ARM Cement was the top mover of the day. The company sold 4.67 million shares with a market capitalization of 3.41 trillion.

Safaricom Limited sold 2 million shares followed by Kenya Commercial bank with 1.76 million shares. Equity Bank sold 1.51 million shares while East African Breweries sold 544,200 shares.
