Finger Millet Retailing Highest in Isiolo and Lowest in Kakamega

Market prices for a 90-kilogram bag of Finger Millet are highest in Isiolo where it is being sold at 9,000 shillings and lowest in Kakamega where it goes at 4,000 shillings.

The 90-kilogram bag of Finger Millet is having the following market prices in other selected towns: 8,100 shillings in Eldoret, 7,600 shillings in Kisumu, 7,200 shillings in Nairobi, 6,750 shillings in Mombasa, 6,300 shillings in Nakuru and Kitale respectively and 6,000 shillings in Embu.

A 90-kilogram bag of green maize is being sold as follows: 2,700 shillings in Isiolo and Embu respectively, 2,600 shillings in Kisumu and Nairobi respectively, 2,500 shillings in Mombasa, 2,200 shillings in Kakamega and 2,000 shillings in Nakuru and Eldoret.

A 110-kilogram bag of ground nuts is being sold highest in Kitale at 14,300 shillings and lowest in Kisumu at 9,200 shillings.

A variety of bean types are also available in the market including Rosecoco, Canadian and Mwitemania beans. All of them which are in 90 kilograms are being sold at 4,000 shillings in Kitale, 6,000 shillings in Isiolo and 6,000 shillings in Kakamega.

A 90-kilogram bag of the Green gram is being sold at 10,800 shillings, 9,000 shillings in Nairobi and Eldoret respectively, 8,000 shillings in Kakamega, 7,600 shillings in Kisumu, 7,200 shillings in Isiolo, 5,400 shillings and 5,220 shillings.
